Are you and idiot to keep paying your mortgage?

November 18, 2008

Have a look at the Kathleen Pender article that appeared in the 11/16/2008 edition of the SF Chronicle . Introducing two programs offered by the FHA to help homeowners get more affordable mortgages. Wow things sure have changed as a result of this mortgage melt down,  “they encouraged people to overstate their income to get a bigger loan…now they encourage them to understate their income to qualify for a smaller loan.” Very interesting times!  We welcome your comments on this hot topic.

Reflection Cove, Incline Village

November 13, 2008

An incredible lakefront value in Incline Village. Reflection Cove is located at the far west end of Incline Village as one heads towards Crystal Bay.  Contemporary Tahoe Style home with expansive views of the beautiful blue water.  Purchase the adjacent lot as a package and own almost 1000 feet of lake frontage (see Parcels C and D on Map).  Tremendous value for lakefront shoppers!  www.453Lakeshore.com

JUMP!

November 10, 2008

The last few weeks have been wild, we think the following lyrics pretty much some it up:

I get up, and nothing gets me down.

You got it tough. I’ve seen the toughest around.

And I know, baby, just how you feel.

You’ve got to roll with the punches to get to what’s real.

JUMP-Van Halen

What is “real” is the BIG question….We continue to be optimistic while we wait out the financial market bail outs  and post election speculation.  There are some incredible opportunities for those of you who are looking to “jump”.  Be sure to review the attached 3rd quarter market statistics and price banding charts.

All the best,

Megan~Kerry~Debbie

This article appeared in the SF Chrionicle on 11/09/2009.  Some good food for thought concerning the strategies required to sell a home in today’s challenging market…aggressive pricing.
